THE first rally of the Historic Commercial Vehicle Club has been fixed for May 31-June 1 at the works of Leyland Motors, Ltd., Leyland, Lancs. The programme is provisional, but it is intended to have a Saturday evening parade of as many vehicles as have arrived by then, and a dance or social evening with films. Sunday morning may be devoted to vehicle tests and a concours on the Leyland track, and the afternoon to prizegiving.
Already the club has well over 50 members and is expanding rapidly.

DID NOT HAVE TWO MIRRORS
ONpayment of 4s. costs, an absolute discharge was given to George Robert Watkins, Clater Park, Bromyard, at Stourport last week, when he was prosecuted for using a goods vehicle which was not fitted with two mirrors. He was said to have told the police that he did not know that a econd mirror was necessary.
BEDFORDS IN USA.
A BEDFORD CA I0-12-cwt. van and a lak Dormobile estate car were exhibited for the first time in America at the recent Chicago Show. The van was expected to be on sale in-the U.S.A. as from Jast month.
