ACASH prize of £5 5s. and a trophy will be awarded to the winner in each class in the Manchester eliminating round of the Lorry Driver of the Year Competition on June 22. The driver placed second will receive £3 3s. and third, £2 2s.
Entrants will assemble at the car.park, off Piccadilly, Manchester, and . will follow an observed seven-mile route to Manchester City Football Club's park at Maine Road. where there will be three manceuvring tests.
It is unlikely that more than 100 entrants will be accepted. Commercial organizations will be limited to a maximum of four vehicles and not more than two in any class. There will be no class H. which covert the largest articulated outfits.
