WORK is to start shortly on the realignment and widening of a stretch of the A40 in South Wales.
The quarter-mile section at Abergwili, Dyfed will be widened and made straighter at a cost of £405,976. The work also includes replacing the bridge over the River Gwili.
The Welsh Office says that the scheme should take about a year.
