BUS enthusiasts are thinner on the ground on the Continent than in Britain, but the preservation movement is picking up support.
Dutch supporters of Amsterdam's MUSA collection of city and inter-urban buses are engaged in restoration work on several of the vehicles which also represent names which have had a famous past. The oldest vehicle is a 1940 Kromhout with two-door forward control bodywork, used in Amsterdam until 1968.
