Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A NEW drawbar outfit, consisting of a Bedford KG and York trailer, has recently been supplied to Giles Instone Transport Ltd with bodywork constructed by Marsden Coachbuilders of Warrington.

'he vehicle is used for the transport of plastic garment hangers, manufactured by an associate company of Giles Instone, between the main factory in Edenbridge, Kent. and a new distribution warehouse in Preston. The vehicle carries a total of 450 boxes of garment hangers (225,000 hangers) doing one trip to Preston, on a Monday, and returning to Edenbridge on Wednesday. Full use is made of the vehicle, however, because while the trailer is being loaded with 200 boxes of hangers the vehicle loads in I .ondon with goods for Carlisle and Glasgow.

The trailer is then dropped off at the warehouse on Thursday and collected again on Friday with the Bedford meanwhile carrying out its deliveries in Carlisle and Glasgow.

The company has been so pleased with the way this method of operation has been working that a second similar vehicle has been ordered from Marsdens for delivery in the new year.

Overall capacity of the vehicle is 92.4cum (3,300 cu ft) and 10 tons payload, although in fact the vehicle rarely carries more than 5 or _6 tons.
