APPLICATIONS for 1975 EEC road haulage permits for hire and reward use are now being sought by the DoE's International Road Freight Office, 36/42 Low Friar Street, Newcastle upon Tyne. The permits are for use with complete vehicles (not unaccompanied vehicles) and allow one journey at a time. Only operators who can make intensive use of the permits are likely to get them, says the DoE.
Applications must he received by December 2.
