IE LATEST VAN to enter -vice with Control Comments Ltd, of Corby, Nortints is a 24-ton-gvw 6x2 rd fitted with a 127kw 'Obhp) Perkins V8 engine 1 a Boys trailing axle.
Each side of the van is fitted th two aluminium-planked iver roller-shutter doors, e 3.2 metres (loft Gin) wide d the other 3.5 metres (1 Ift 6in) which are counterbalanced and give access to the whole of each side, apart from the centre pillar.
The rear door is another aluminium roller shutter above a Ratcliff tail lift which was specified to help the loading and unloading of split deliveries.
The body was built by Spencer Abbott and Co of Birmingham.
