Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

KENT-MOORE UK's K M4058 pressure timing tool enables diesel engineers to time engines fitted with inline fuel injection pumps, without removing the delivery valve spring.

Once connected to the injector pump, inlet, diesel fuel pumped under pressure lifts the delivery valve off its seat and flows out from the spill pipe, clearly indicating the cut-off point when the engine is turned slowly.

A hand-operated, self-priming pump unit is fed by a 2m (6.3ft) hose from a container/filter assembly.

The complete tool is mounted on a carrier tray for storage/ease of use and comes complete with spill pipe, 12/14mm nuts and fuel galley blanking plug.
