NOW is the time to begin your studies for the next Royal Society of Arts examinations for the Certificate of Professional Competence' in either road haulage or public service vehicles.
CM/RTCC home-study packs are available on special offer terms for the Goods National, Goods International and PSV National examinations. Each pack is divided into sections in accordance with the RSA syllabus with self-assessment questions at the end of each section to enable students to check their progress through the course. There are also two mock examinations contained in each pack for students to submit to their course tutor for marking and assessment. The packs cover the entire syllabus, no additional reading matter is necessary and no written work is required. The RSA examinations, held four times a year in March, June, October and December, consist of multiple-choice questions. CM/RFCC students have ample practice at anseering this type of question which is used throughout the course in the self-assessment questions and the mock examinations.
Each student is allocated to one of two very experienced course tutors (Eddie Pargeter and Frank Lewsey) who are always available to assist students with their courses, either by telephone (Witney 3481) or letter.
Every operator is required by law to have at least one CPC holder at each operating centre. It is important to hay additional CPC holders in reserve t( protect the operator's licence should th main CPC holder cease to he in full time employment.
