LAND ROVER'S in-line litre Four-cylinder petrol gine was replaced at the of August by a 2.5-litre I which becomes stand. across the Ninety and ( Ten range.
With the existing bore 90.47nun and stroke increz by 8.1mm to 97mm, powt improved to 62kW (83hp; an engine speed of 4, RPM and torque to 1811 (133 lbft) at 2,000 RPM.
This latest developm rationalises Land Rover's gine production.
The four-cylinder dit was increased in size to litres last year.
Other developments elude the introduction of improved fuel system with in-tank fuel pump and s return system.
