t.F TRUCKS has fiirsaken Id in favour of rail for the livery of vehicles to its Dttish and Northern Ireland tiers.
It has contracted MAT ans Auto to move cornted lorries by British Rail's eedlink services from Col!ster to Scotland. Before, !y were driven to Scotland the contract delivery drivwho continue to deliver the manufacturer's trucks to other parts of Britain.
And already Daf reports savings as well as a reduction in the delivery mileage on the vehicles and a reduction in the risk of damage on delivery.
All Daf models, except Space Cab, Top Sleeper or roof spoiler-equipped lorries, can be accommodated on MAT's specially-designed Comtic railway wagons_
