Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

HAVING READ your story on Craig Pemberton headed "Road rage driver keeps his licence", I'm disgusted that he could be fined and given six points (CM 31 May). What happened to the driver of the car that caused him to brake heavily? So many times I've seen cars put their foot down to get in front of wagons at roadworks, and where does it get them? In front of another wagon.

Cars on the road nowadays have no idea about the turning circle, let alone the braking distance, of an LGV. And they sit behind them very impatiently.

If it isn't the young driving fast, it is the elderly who drive too slow and then say they didn't see you. How big do you need to be?

Maybe instead of persecuting the LGV drivers it's about time car drivers were given a test on LGVs and how much room they really need instead of teaching them how to change a wheel or check the oil.

I have every sympathy for Craig Pemberton. I was a car driver, but gave it up due to the amount of idiots on the road —now I stick to the bus. However, my husband is an LGV driver.
