What is AdBlue and what difference does it make?
AdBlue, a fluid which is added into the exhaust gas to react with the NOx in the catalyst, is in fact a registered trademark for AUS32 (Aqueous Urea Solution 32.5%). It is a solution of highpurity urea In demineralised water.
It is stored in a separate tank on the truck and is used at a very small percentage to the diesel usage (usually 3-5%).
