Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Hartshorne East Midlands, Hartshorne (Potteries) and Hartshorne Motor Services — both part of the Hartshorne Motor Group based in Walsall — claim to be creditors of Staffordshire operator Strongserve, which has been trading since 1988.

A spokeswoman for Hartshorne Motor Group says that due to the Data Protection Act it is unable to disclose its accounts to third parties. However, according to the official source of corporate insolvency data, a hearing has been scheduled for 18 June. The court will then decide whether Strongserve should be wound up.

The petition can be withdrawn if the alleged debt is settled before the court date.

According to S trongse rye's website, it is 100% owned by the Webb family, which has more than 50 years' experience in road haulage services. It handles general haulage, contract distribution and warehousing services. It also has a consultancy arm to help manufacturers "reduce their annual spend on any aspect of their transport/ warehouse budgets".

Strongserve's last available accounts, for the year ending 30 September 2005, revealed it had fixed assets of just under £28,000. Short-term debts to creditors were £583,000, compared with £644,000 the year before.
