Class H again. A fine performance was put up by J. Warren, third, driving one of the largest vehicles.
After winning class E2 in 1961/2/3, D. Bradshaw returns to the finals again this year. Another winner who is no stranger is A. R. Mudd in Class E (1), who took the trophy in 1964/5.
J. F. E. Jones won Class D with the best score of only 22 penalty points. L. W. Moreton dropped only one point in width judgment but could only come second in the class.
First-timer, D. Gough lost nothing on the highway code or road route and won Class G. The only entrant in Class F (1), who found his vehicle boxed in on collection at his EMS depot, arrived late and was disqualified for failing to produce a driving licence.
Mr. Stephen Swingler MP, Joint Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Transport, presented the prizes.
