BLATCHFORDS Packers and Removers Ltd., a member of the Devon Trading and Harveys Group, has acquired the share capital of Chard Transport Co. Ltd., which operates a 14-vehicle fleet. Mr. C. H. Baulch remains on the new board of Chard Transport Co. Ltd.
New Bridge: The Minister of Transport has granted Grimsby Borough Council £716,310 towards a £955,080 bridge to replace the Cleethorpes level crossing on the Stamford-Grimsby road, used by about 15,000 vehicles daily.
