ANOTHER BOOK that is a little offbeat for us, yet may have its admirers among holders of Flicences, is Farm Tractors (Warne's Transport Library; £6.95), compiled by Nick Baldwin. This book contains details from all the world's tractor makers who replied to a request for details — including "several elusive manufacturers". Sports-car snobs may care to note that there are Lamborghini tractors, made in Italy. East Germany, as you would expect, makes its own tractor — red and grey when sold as a ZT, but blue and grey under the name Fortschritt. Warne's Transport Library, 40 Bedford Square, London WC1.
