ARCHIE TURNER, Strathclyde PTE's corporate finance manager, has succeeded George Dow as honorary secretary of the Bus and Coach Council's Scottish Council. Mr Dow held the post for nearly 30 years.
Mr Turner joined the former Greater Glasgow PTE as a management accountant some 10 years ago, and rose to become chief accountant before assuming his present post three years ago. He was previously financial controller for a firm of general merchants and is a Fellow of the Certified and Corporate Accountants.
