Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

I would like to answer most strongly the criticism levelled at our sector of the transport industry, namely British Road Services, by Mr A. C. Buckman (CM January 7).

'Mr Buckman's arguments are muddled and we firmly repudiate his statement on rates and costs. It is wrong to suggest that BRS haulage rates are "ridiculous-. in fact, the tendency is towards the higher end of the market in general, which directly reflects the quality of service offered. Over the years the BRS rating policy has itself brought an element of stability to the industry, from following which, many other hauliers have found it possible to benefit.
