Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Ted Murphy recalls others in the great team of drivers spanning the south. One, known as Mary Edwards, was singularly unfortunate with animals and once lost a load of pigs when he stopped to water them. Eventually they were rounded up by three policemen and other drivers.

Mary Edwards apparently had an uncanny gift for seeing in fog. He used to open the upper half of the windscreen and drive standing, with his accelerator foot flat on the floorboards.

This practice of leaving the driving seat greatly alarmed the organisers of the Lorry Driver of the Year Competition in the earliest days and it was promptly forbidden. Old sweats in Scammells used to set the hand throttle to give a reversing speed of about 1 mph and then walk across the cab to peer out of the nearside door. This was not strictly in accordance with the spirit of a road safety competion.
