FURTHER discussions are being held between Tyne and Wear PTE and trade union representatives to try to resolve a dispute which stopped Newcastle's buses last weekend.
Over 200 staff at its Byker depot in Newcastle staged a lightning strike last weekend over a disagreement affecting the grading of some of their number.
They complained that they were not receiving sufficient remuneration for carrying out skilled work, and felt that a three-week long overtime ban had not achieved the effect.
