A GEARED version of their 40-ton PIinclinable power press has been introduced by F. I. Edwards, Ltd., 359-361 Euston Road, London, N.W.I. An increase in work capacity per stroke is achieved at the reduced speed of 45 strokes per minute, compared with 100 strokes per minute with the unge.ared model. The length of stroke is adjustable from 1 in. to 3 in., an increase of it in. over the adjustment of the earlier machine.
The new model, designated BAG.21 Mark 2, is powered by a 5 h.p. motor.
