Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

C COTLAND'S own Motor Show opens today in Kelvin Hall, Glasgow. It is the second to be held since the war and the commercial-vehicle section at least fully justifies the promoters' decision to stage the exhibition this year.Several manufacturers have used the opportunity to introduce entirely new models and to show them to the public for the first time.

. Although the exhibitors are mainly local distributors, the Show is truly national in character. Twenty-four makes of commercial vehicle are displayed on 50 stands, in addition to which the demonstration parks house an impressive array of vehicles, some of which are completely new.

The scope of the exhibition has been widened by the organizers' decision to lift the ban imposed in 1949 on vehicles weighing more than 12 tons gross. The result is that Kelvin Hall provides a fully representative selection of vehicles ranging in payload capacity from 5 cwt. to about 14 tons.

The Show is well supported also by the accessory and component and workshop equipment sections of the industry. Visitors have an opportunity of inspecting developments in these spheres which have occurred since the Commercial Motor Show was held last year.

Glasgow is a long way from the south, but the Show is well worth a visit by any operator from across the border who wantsto keep abreast of progress and has two or three days to spare.
