MR. T. Kraox, marketing director of Massey-Ferguson (Great Britain), Ltd.. has joined the board of StandardTriumph Sales, Ltd.
MR, A. J. BURTON, executive works director of the Austin Motor Co., Ltd., unexpectedly resigned as from April 30. No reason has been given. Mr. Burton is 43.
MR. ARTHUR. SYKES, technical consultant to the David Brown gear group and a leading authority on gear production, has been awarded a gold medal by the British Gear Manufacturers' Association.
MR. HENRY DEAR, commercial sales manager of Taskers of Andover (1932), Ltd., has retired. He joined the company as an apprentice in 1905. He is succeeded by MR. W. R. SWINBANK, for several years an executive of the export sales branch.
MR. D. H. DYMOND has relinquished his position as transport engineer of Burmah Shell Oil Storage and Distributing Co. of Irkdia, Ltd., to become chief engineer for both the Uganda Transport Co., Ltd., and Kampala and District Services.
MR. T. R. HARDMAN has been appointed executive sales director of Tecalemit, Ltd. MR. H. E. JACKSON and MR. J. E. DRINKWATER have joined the board as executive engineering director and executive production director, respectively.
MR. H. 1. STONEMAN, service manager of Simms Motor Units. Ltd., has been appointed general service manager, and MR. J. MAUND, Australian representative. has become export service manager. MR. D. CRAWFORD has been appointed home service manager.
MR. J. K. ROGERS, account executive of Maurice G. Parker, Ltd., has been appointed to succeed MR. R. J. Riau. as publicity manager of Guy Motors, Ltd. Mr. Ridge has taken the post of sales promotion manager of F. Maitland Selwyn and Co.
MR. J. CHURM, assistant manager and engineer of Leicester Transport Department, has been appointed transport manager and engineer of Halifax Transport Department, which maintains and operates all the council's vehicles other than buses. Contrary to the report published on April 29, Halifax Cleansing Department is separate from the Transport Department.
MR. C. J. ASHTON, director and general manager, Wadham (Holdings). Ltd.. has been appointed managing director, Wadhams, Ltd., and Wadham Bros.
