• Iveco Daily 3.5-tormers, now available through Iveco Ford and Seddon Atkinson dealers, start at £12,856 (ex-VAT) for the 358 Daily chassis-cab, rising to £16,875 (ex-VAT) for the chargecooled 35.12 TurboDaily van.
German vehicle and trailer hire company Sixt has ordered 1,000 Iveco trucks, including 7.5-tonne EuroCargos and box-bodied Daily and TurboDaily models between 2.8 and 6.0 tonnes.
E In last week's Mercedes 814D roadtest gremlins struck the fuel consumption figures printed for the Iveco Ford TurboDaily 59.12. The overall, A-road and motorways figure on "How it measures up" should have read 19.9mpg, 21.1mpg and 17.3mpg respectively.
