• Bandvulc warns operators with older air compressors to check that they are capable of inflating truck tyres to the correct pressure. It points out that many modern truck tyres should be inflated to 125psi, while many compressors produce a maximum of 100psi. Bandvulc also advises operators to put filters or water traps in the air lines to remove the moisture that develops as hot compressed air cools as it enters the tyre.
