FAULT
BROKEN or cracked main leaves of springs were the most prevalent fault found on goods vehicles, the West Midland Maintenance Advisory Cornmittee• have found from .an analysis of prohibition notices served during the past threemonths.
Other defects, in order of seriousness, coricerned steering, brakes, transinissiOn, bodywork • and" wings, and the exhaust Mi. E.:Car-ter' was elected Chairman of thecbtriniittee On Manday;. Mr. A. R. Butt is' vice-Chairman and Mr. L. Patrick again honorary secretary.
