A VERSION of its grp Metrovan truck body incorporating some the features of the Envoy grp trailer van has been announced by 1 York Trailer Company.
The Metrovan design consists of a one-piece base assembly ma from high tensile steel and comprising two pressed steel chani body runners and cross-members mounted at 610mm (2ft) centr Side panel are protected by a 178mm (7in) deep steel kickstrip on I inner panel, bolted to the cross-members, and an extruded a minium exterior side sill, 178mm (7in) deep.
Location points for York's load restraint system are provided in I floor. The roof cant rail incorporates the upper load restraint fixir positioned, says York, to provide maximum usable interior wid The roof is a one-piece translucent panel, prestressed with mouldr in aluminium roof bows. All fixings of it to the aluminium cant ra are outside the cargo area and are sealed to prevent water seepi in.
