DAIHATSU UK, in conjunctio with Protectol, has announce' that all vehicles in the Japanes manufacturer's range will b guaranteed against rust to eight years from the date of pui chase.
This is claimed to be the fire time a major manufacturer ha offered "second generation rustproofing to its entire rang of vehicles as standard.
Protectol and Daihatsu hay jointly set up special rustprocr ing bays at the latter's impoi centre in Dover, where at leae 5,000 vehicles will be treated thi year.
Each new vehicle will b supplied with a one-litre can c rustproofing material for appl cation by owners if damage t the protected surfaces shoul arise.
