Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Chemitec, a new anti-corrosive metal treatment from Protective Chemicals and Plastics, is said to give protection against corrosion in three ways. In the first place molecules of the liquid plastic penetrate the surface, linking with molecules of the metal. Secondly, it contains a -chemical absorber" which reacts with contaminants getting on the surface from the atmos

phere converting them to an inert material which actually helps to prevent growth of corrosion. and finally it contains corrosion inhibitors which stop the "creep" of rust under the treatment if the surface gets broken.

The product is supplied ready mixed to a brushing consistency but a solvent is available for application by spray and thinners for dripping. Colour is a light buff but Chemitec can be overcoated with most types of conventional or synthetic coatings: it eliminates the need for usual primers.

Drying time at 68 deg F is 15/20min to touch dry and 40/50min to hard dry.
