Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

An advisory leaflet published by the Timber Container Confederation CTIMCONl gives full dimensions and details of the metric measurements that timbercontainer manufacturers are now working to. TIIVICON is an association of UK makers of timber packing cases and pallets, etc, and the decision to switch to metric measurements follows a change to metric for softwoods sold to the container makers earlier this year.

The leaflet states that dimensions of timber containers will be by the lineal metre instead of the lineal foot for lengths, by the millimetre instead of inches for cross sections and by the square metre instead of square foot for areas. Timber-container users are advised that the new basic metric measures should be specified on all orders and that they will be used in the calculation of all quotations and charges.
