Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Where the power output of an engine has been stepped up from an original design formula— common nowadays—there can be greater than usual wear on highly stressed components. For such power units, Carburol Series V has been developed. It can be added to the lubricant in diesels and petrol engines as well as to the oil in gear boxes and driving axles. The recommended ratio of application is one part of Carburol Series V to three parts of lubricant.

The additive can be mixed with most types of oil—not castor oil in any form—and as well as having a viscosity index of over 120, it is an SAE 20W/40 oil with the ability to match most viscosity ranges.
