K. S. r Robinson A. R. Marshall and Sons (Haulage) Ltd), Nottingham, has been elected chairman of the technical committee of the Road Haulage Association. J. Castle, Leeds, is vice-chairman.
T. Irvine Kinley, on reaching retiring age, has retired from the boards of the Scottish Bus Group and its operating subsidiaries.
D. C. Foden, W. L. Foden and S. P. Twemlow have been appointed main board directors of Fodens Ltd.
A. Macnair and R. Selkirk have been appointed group distribution managers of United Biscuits Ltd. Mr Macnair is responsible for distribution in the North. and Scotland from 11 depots, and Mr Selkirk for the South and Midlands, from 12 depots. They were with William Macdonald and Sons when the company became part of the UBG in 1965.
Douglas Mills, ex Crane Fruehauf Trailers, has joined the board of Merriworth (Engineering) Ltd.

R. Faulkner of Reigate Warehouses Ltd, has been elected chairman of the National Association of Warehouse Keepers for the ensuing year in succession to J. D. Lockhart; Stanley G. Burgess has succeeded Boyd Bowman, who has retired.

Sir John Eden has resigned from the board of British Timken, following his appointment as Minister of State at the Ministry of Technology.
Julian Amery has resigned from the board of Dennis Bros following his appointment as Minister of Public Building and Works. Mr Amery has been succeeded at Dennis by Lord Cobham, a former Governor General of New Zealand.
Sidney Barnett has been appointed managing director of Dundee Express, part of the Transport Development Group, in succession to Dr Charles Alexander, who has retired. Mr Barnett joined the business in 1931 six months after it was founded by his brother, the late Mr Robert H. Barnett.
D. R. Vernon, 46, at present general manager of the Yorkshire Woollen District Transport Co Ltd, takes up the newly created post of assistant general manager of the Western National Omnibus Co Ltd from August 1. The post has been created as a result of reorganization involving the Western and Southern National companies. Devon General. Greenslades and the former Exeter Corporation undertaking. F. E. Dark, traffic manager of the Bristol Group of Companies, will take over from Mr Vernon.
J. L. Jepson, 50, since 1963 assistant chief engineer at Eastern National Omnibus Co Ltd, moves to chief engineer.
Aubrey McElhatton, 35, has been appointed general manager of Normandy Ferries, and will be based at the company's Southampton office. Mr McElhatton joined Irish Shipping Ltd as economist in 1963 and, for the past three years, has been general manager of Normandy Ferries' operations in Ireland.
R. H. Roberts, formerly traffic manager of the Yorkshire Traction company, has succeeded S. Smith as Maidstone and District Motor Services' traffic manager.
