• Replying to an approach from the National Guild of Transport Managers, the new Minister of Transport, Mr John Peyton, has said this week in a personal letter that he will not be giving transport managers' licensing priority over other issues. The Minister has reassured the Guild that when TMLs do come up for consideration he will consult this body along with others who may be interested.
