FARES on most Midland Red bus services for journeys within the West Midlands County came into line with the West Midlands PTE scales on Sunday.
The Travelcard season ticket is now available on Midland Red services for most journeys in the county, subject to certain restrictions.
Charges apply to more than 70 Midland Red services — a further stage in the progress towards a uniform fare structure on local public transport which is the county council's policy. The portions of these cross-boundary services within the county come under the control of the PTE; Midland Red is paid operating costs but hands over revenue to the PTE.
