A £1 MILLION scheme to enlarge and modernize Willesden bus garage has been announced by London Transport. The programme, which will begin early this year, will provide space for 120 buses instead of 90. A new block on the Pound Lane frontage will house the garage offices and staff restaurant. LT hopes that these improvements will raise the image of bus work and help the company to recruit and retain more staff.
