LONDON desperately needs an outer route, the FTA has told the public inquiry into proposals to construct the A10—All, M11 —Al2sections of M16.
in the absence of any other satisfactory peripheral route, said the FTA, these two sections were necessary unless traffic between Ml, Dartford Tunnel and the Port of London was not to continue using unsuitable routes through North London.
