Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ROAD SAFETY campaign group Brake and parcels firm FedEx have joined forces in anew initiative that is designed to cut road deaths.

The FedEx-Brake Road Safety Academy will train volunteers to deliver road safety information. Fleet managers and drivers will be offered free one-day training sessions where they will be taught how to deliver a lifesaving presentation highlighting the dangers of drink-driving, driving while tired and speeding.

They will then be given resources such as leaflets to enable them to pass on their risk manage ment skills to their colleagues.

Mary Williams, Brake's chief executive, says: "We know thousands of people who want to improve road safety in their companies but don't know where to start. Brake will 'train the trainers', provide plenty of support and resources, and will keep in regular contact with them to ensure their success."

FedEx says that it will be encouraging its drivers to volunteer as academy 'graduates' by allowing them paid leave to help spread road safety education within the firm and in their local communities.
