Behold, you see before you a vehicle that really does justice to the notion of a convertible.
The special-purpose semi-trailer was designed and custom built for motorsports specialist Automotive Systems Competitions by Carrosseriefabriek Joust Lamboo of Zoetermeer, Holland (easy for me to say).
The unit, which made its debut at the Zandtoort race track, was designed to establish a team base during the Pearle Alpha 156 Challenge. There's room for VIP guest hospitality, a workshop for the competing cars, overnight facilities for four team members and a kitchen unit.
The roof is reinforced to make a sniffing spectator platform capable of taking the weight of 50 cheering supporters.
Four Alpha 156 racing cars travel in the rear compartment and the poles and the sheets for the awning are stored In the trailer. It's the ultimate activity centre where all the big boys and girls would like to play, given the chance.
