Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ahe Hawk built up a fair old thirst reading through Pulling Pints, a history of brewery transport by former Whitbread transport manager Robert Coates.

This fully illustrated hardback traces the history of brewery transport through the days of horsepower, steam and motor drays to artics, drawbars and tankers. The pictures come from the author's own collection which began when he worked for Whitbread; they include many rare snaps rescued from a fire at Whitbread's Chiswell Street headquarters in London.

Horse-driven drays are still in use by London brewery Young—the vehicle's dignified versatility is demonstrated in a picture of one serving as a hearse when a member of the Young family died in 1990.

The Hawk has three copies of the book for the first readers who can tell me the name of the consumer organisation that fights to keep real ale in our pubs and has successfully seen off the threat of that fizzy abomination, keg "beer". Answers on a postcard please, by opening time on 24 September.

Copies are also available for £18.95 from Motor Racing Publications of Croydon, phone 081681 3363.
