THE general picture in the municipal passenger transport field this week is that the majority of busmen are working normally, but those of certain undertakings are taking some militant action in protest against the freeze of the recent 9s. 3d. wage award.

Dundee busmen, for example, are banning standing passengers, refusing to take part in any further productivity schemes and also restricting the amount of overtime -worked. Mr. Russell, general manager at Dundee told COMMERCIAL Moroi), on Tuesday that so far the effect of this action was not being very severely felt.
