Last month the service went live and Horsfall thinks the online analysis for both digital and analogue data could create quite a stir.

"We've looked into a different system to our rivals. Customers will use an online bureau service and simply scan their charts or download the digital data and enter any holidays, sick or rest days. That's it; we do the rest," says Horsfall.

TachoMaglc is aiming to reduce the amount of manhours hauliers spend on analysing tachograph data as well as keeping the service low-cost.
