Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE NATIONAL Roads Authority (NRA) has rejected a coroner's call for crash barriers to be fitted on all Irish motorways and dual carriageways.

The coroner was speaking at the inquest into the deaths of three people who died when their car was in collision with a van as they crossed the M1 central reservation near Dundalk.

Crash barriers will be erected along the new motorway says tht NRA — but only where the centra divide is less than 15m wide. I claims that where the reservatior is wider than that drivers will bi able to regain control of their vehi cle so no barrier is needed.

But IRHA spokesman Jimm: Quinn says anybody who has eve driven on grass at speed knows i driver has practically no control oi such a surface.
