Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

and I want to develop more into the distribution field. Could you advise me on warehouse charges and distribution rates? Could you also tell me the normal rates for a 7-ton payload vehicle on a mileage basis or a time and mileage basis?

AIt is difficult to give you detailed advice on warehouse charges and distribution costs. The charges should reflect your own

actual costs, including all overheads, with a reasonable profit margin.

The Commercial Motor Tables of Operating Costs (available from IPC Business Press, Sundry Sales Dept. 40 Bowling Green Lane. London EC1, price 11s including postage) give details of operating costs for most sizes of vehicle, A diesel-engined vehicle with a 7-ton payload is shown to have an operating cost of £49 4s per week for 200 miles. £69 19s Oct per week for 600 miles and £92 17s Od per week for 1000 miles. Minimum recommended charges per mile for 200 miles are 82.66 pence. falling to 39.16 pence per mile for 600 miles or 31.19 pence per mile for 1000 miles per week.

Minimum charges on a weekly basis would be £68 18s Od for 200 miles, £97 18s Oct for 600 miles and £129 19s Od for 1,000 miles.

On a time and mileage basis we suggest 24s 11d per hour plus 1s 11d per mile for up to 100 miles or 1s 8d per mile for 200 miles and over.
