The chairman of Luton magistrates lade this observation on Monday when .eonard Norman Burns, Child's Ercall, ear Market Drayton, appeared on a barge of exceeding the 30 mph. limit his furniture van.
It was stated that Burns had travelled t 48 m.p.h. The load comprised the efendant's own furniture and a police ispector said that if the magistrates• eld that Burns 'did not need a C cence to carry his personal property, e could travel at any speed with those 3ods.
The charge -was dismissed.
