Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

BOWRING TRANSPORT, of Warsop.Notts, has acquired North Yorkshire waste firm Whitkirk Waste Solutions.

Whitkirk specialises in removing food and drink industry waste for recycling onto the land. It was part of the Whitkirk Produce group of companies whose 0-licence was revoked earlier in the year for tacho offences.

This association did not deter Bowring. MD David Bowing says: "It was a small consideration but I spoke toWhitkirk'scustomersand they were happy with the service they were getting. -11you'vegotsatistiedcustomers then that's a good place to start building from," he adds.

Bowring, which operates 60 t rucks on bulk tipping and general haulage work, will run Whitkirk's operation from its current Easingwold site.

The purchase includes the lleet of 15 trucks and specialised vacuum tankers and tippers; 20 staff will also transfer to Bowring.

Bowling Group also includes considerable farming interests which might dovetail with Whitkirk's agricultural recycling operation.
