the Foden Society recently indulged itself by holding its AGM at the Foden Works in Sand bach. More than 100 members turned up to hear Harold Nancollis talk about his book detailing the 50 years he worked for the manufacturer (including teabreaks? Ed). A tour of the works allowed members to see glitters being built for the Department of Transport and military vehicles for the Ministry of Defence. A fun day was had by ail, apparently.
