In fact they might add, as did a team mate, that Bath RFC's first-team prop forward Kevin Yates is "very mobile, very explosive with the ball-in-hand and a very competent scrummer". So why is such a talented and spritely youngster (22) gracing the Hawk's rather elderly page, where cobwebs and moss compete equally for space? Well, Kevin is employed by Wincanton as a project manager in the firm's Trowbridge-based Business Development Team. Exciting as that must be, Kevin's recent month-long tour for England's A-Squad might just have had the edge. Yazza, as we shall now call him, joined a squad that played seven matches in Australia and Fiji, including South Australia, Queensland and Australian Universities.
