Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The first seven Seddon Atkinson 4 x 2 Straw tractors to be ordered with the new Eagle 325TX engine have gone into service with Petrofina UK.

The Perkins 12-litre 242kW (325hp) air-to-air charge-cooled engine drives through a Spicer 1310 gearbox. The boxes were installed by the supplier, Ryland North West of Warrington, in place of the standard Eaton Twin Splitter transmission. They save 121kg and give uniformity across Petrofina's 150-vehicle fleet.

All seven day-cab models are equipped with Girling Skidcheck, Drum Engineering pump gear and alloy wheels, saving another 120kg. They will haul Crane Fruehauf triaide tank semi-trailers out of Avonmouth and Bunsfield.
