Crosville's Carlyles
• National Express firm Crosville Wales has taken delivery of 10 Carlyle DailyBuses worth more than .2250,000. The vehicles, which are based on Iveco Ford 49.10S chassis, will run in Liverpool under the company's Amberline banner.
LRTs fare gap
III Transport secretary Cecil Parkinson said in Parliament last week that the future of London Regional Transport finances and investment would be revealed "shortly".
He did not say if he intends to finance the gap between the 10% fare increase he has permitted and the 15% LRT wants.
Transport minister Michael Port& says that restructuring London Buses into separate subsidiaries will encourage competition.
